Top of the Mornin' To Ya!
Today I made (you guessed it) a St. Patrick's Day card! I started out with an 8 1/2 x 11 inches piece of card stock (green of course!). I cut the paper in half - making it 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches.
I scored it in half at 4 1/4 inches so the card ends up being 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.
Next, I cut a plain white piece of card stock to go on the front of the card at 4 x 5 1/4 inches. I cut the pattern paper (the one with shamrocks) to layer over the white at 3 3/4 x 5 inches. This will create a very small green and white border.
Using my Cricut, I cut out a leprechaun's hat from black card stock at 3 inches. I used A Child's Year cartridge. There are so many things you can do with this and this is the first time I have used the cartridge. I must make more projects with it!
I found a scrap piece of green glitter (for the shamrock) and yellow glitter (for teh hat ban) paper and glued them to the back of the hat.
Next I used my Lime Green Stickles to make the shamrock stem.
I attached the hat to the card using pop dots. How easy is that!
Supplies Used:
Card stock - Glorious Green, Whispering White and Basic Black by Stampin UP!; glitter paper was scraps from DCWV and pattern paper was from K&Company Designer Paper Pack
Stickles - Lime Green
Cricut Cartridge - A Child's Year
Pop Dots = Stampin UP! (but any brand will do)
Adhesive - ATG 714 (but any adhesive will do)
